Yoga Nidra is often described as the yoga of deep relaxation. But it is more than just a form of meditation and visualization. It is also about creating space for self awareness and development. In order for us to live a balanced life, we need to set boundaries in order to allow others to respect our time and our energy. Some of these boundaries include: being on time for appointments; getting enough sleep; taking care of your health, etc. However, once we set our boundaries, we inevitably find ourselves hitting the wall of stress at some point. Recognizing how this happens as well as how to deal with stress effectively will help us get back on track with our self-care and balance; ultimately allowing us to have more creative energy, peace of mind and lasting happiness.
