Ukraine War: Defensive action in Finland, with possible NATO membership

Countries bordering Russia such as Finland say they are very concerned by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and are preparing defenses.

The usually neutral country is considering applying to join NATO, to be strategically protected in a way that it's neighbor Ukraine was not.

Finland has a strong, cultural memory of conflict with Russia too, after it was invaded by it's larger neighbor in 1939/40 in what became known as the Winter War.

A huge army of reservists are now getting ready, in case conflict in Ukraine heads their way.
