A soldier of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told how their commander was the first to escape from Mariupol.

“A thousand people got out somewhere (surrendered), because there was no reason to continue further - the command ran away. The brigade commander fled in 2 days. The brigade was without command for 2 days. I got into the car and they rushed, but the personnel remained. The commander of the reconnaissance company said: "Well, all the boys, now it's every man for himself. Whoever wants, then does. "If you want - break through, if you want - surrender, if you want - shoot."

Most of all, he was surprised that the commander of the brigade, who took the oath of the marine "Do not leave your comrade", the hero of Ukraine, is running "ahead of the whole planet."
