Celebrating Moms – Our Mother’s Day Tradition + Checking in on our Momma Goat Violet

Each year on Mother’s Day we make the short drive over to Aurora, KY and visit Belew’s Dairy Bar. This year Mother’s Day is a little sweeter than normal because Violet, one of our Nigerian Dwarf does, will be kidding any day now. Subscribe to the channel so you won’t miss the baby goats!

Belew’s is locally famous for delicious burgers and superb milkshakes. They don’t take card so you better either bring cash or your checkbook. We started this little tradition of ours six years ago when Megan was pregnant with our oldest, Keeton, and as the kids get older it’s something we hope to continue. Judging by their faces I think it’s safe to assume Keeton and Riley want the same!

When we get back to the farm Megan checks in on Violet as she inches closer to her due date. Her body is really changing and she’s showing signs that babies will be coming very soon. Since we’re expecting below-average temperatures this week Megan hangs our Premier 1 Supply heat lamp up; we don’t want our newborns to get chilly. It’s a very exciting time at our farm!
