Joe Biden made a speech recently concerning the dismal jobs report. The post-COVID April economy was expected to add 1 million new jobs since the lock downs were lifted. The report, however, under performed expectations which left Washington reeling with who to blame. Many on the right are blaming continued unemployment on the reoccurring unemployment benefits, claiming that it disincentives individuals from working and fosters dependency.
