• Is 66:15-16 This is a vivid picture of the great judgment that will occur at Christ's second coming. The LORD will come with fire, and His swift chariots roar like a whirlwind. He will bring punishment with the fury of His anger and the flaming fire of His hot rebuke. God will punish the world by fire and by His sword. He will judge the earth, and many will be killed by him.

• Is 66:20-22 This is a prophecy of the glorification of Zion. Men shall literarily make themselves as offering unto the Lord, coming on horses and mules, bringing clean vessels to offer unto God clean offerings. God also promises to call out Priests unto Him from among men, and make this an eternal covenant unto all generations. God is a covenant keeping God. An understanding of this would make it straightforward to relate with God.

• Is. 66:23-24 Isaiah brings his book to a close with great drama. For the faithless there is a sobering portrayal of judgment. For the faithful, there is a glorious picture of rich reward: "So will you always be my people, with a name that will never disappear." The contrast is so striking that it would seem that everyone would want to be God's follower. But we are often just rebellious, foolish, and reluctant to change. We are also just as negligent in feeding the hungry, working for justice, obeying God's Word, and taking up his causes. Make sure you are among those who will be richly blessed.

Father in the name of Jesus, help me stay focused on Your promises and covenant, following through on Your will for my life. Ps 143:10
10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: Thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

With long life will God satisfy me, and shew me His salvation.
So shall it be for me and my household today and forever, Amen and Amen!
