Baby Goat Watch 2021 continues here on the farm! Violet is a couple days over her due date at this point but her body is showing signs that labor is imminent; we’re here patiently waiting for the newest members of the herd to arrive. Subscribe to the channel so you’ll see the goat kids as soon as they’re here!

Megan recaps exactly how the past few days have played out while we wait on Violet. Violet’s body continues to change by the minute and it feels like the babies could come at any time, so Megan has kept a very close eye on her and even spent a couple nights in the barn so she was nearby if Violet began to kid. We have videos on how we built our kidding stall from pallets and how Megan put together her goat birthing kit – you can watch those at the links below.

Later in the video the goats started doing goat stuff. They’re very inquisitive critters and our Nigerian Dwarfs are so friendly, but they are always into something. That’s part of the charm, right?

If you’re at all curious as to why we decided dairy goats were something we wanted to do we have a whole playlist on that. Check it out below.
