Episode 3 | Dolmabahce Palace | Istanbul, Turkey 2021 Travel | Ortakoy Mosque | Street Food

On this episode we visit Dolmabahce Palace and pay the extra museum fee to see the Selamlik, which is the Palace. Highly suggested.

We show the inside of the palace and its many rooms. While security doesn't allow selfie sticks of any kind beyond security, you still can take your camera. Just don't record inside the buildings or take pictures.

Give yourself 3 hours for the palace, and the line was long, but not crowed once past the main entrance.

After the palace we walk the grounds viewing additional museums before leaving for Ortakoy Mosque.

We walked on the street to Ortakoy Mosque, but taking a bus is possible. Just need to catch it from Kabatas.

Once at the mosque we take some photos and then continue walking North passing through something unusual. Several booths selling what I think are waffles, the people heckle you by waving and getting your attention to come buy from them.

By days end, we ended back at the fish and chips restaurant called, Bi Balik Karakoy and have dinner sitting on plastic chairs much like VietNam style.

Our hotel was in Taksim Square area.
