Road Trip Part 1 Istanbul to Ephesus | Traveling the best of Turkey | Affordable by Car

After about 10 days being in Istanbul we rent a car for 15 days and venture out on the open road. The first day was driving to Izmir, and then up early and continuing on to Ephesus.

When arriving to Ephesus you need to know there are two parking lots. An upper parking lot and a lower parking lot. Arriving by bus if on a tour, often the bus drops people off, and then you walk to the lower parking lot, about a 45-60 minute walk in all. Maybe longer

To avoid the hike up and back, just park at the upper parking lot, and most of what you want to see, is right there.

We end our day 6 hours by car ride to Pamukkale. We stayed at Paradise otel. They spell motel with out the letter "m', so its otel in Turkey.

Pamukkale famous limestone white thermal pools are a quick 10 mintue drive away, and there is where part 2 of our Turkish road trip picks up.
