Justin Trudeau Condemns Vladimir Putin for Believing He Can “Lie with Impunity”

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and several of his cabinet ministers blasted the Russian invasion of Ukraine and spelled out sanctions that are being imposed on Russia in coordination with the United States and other allies. "I think Vladimir Putin has come to believe that he can lie with impunity. That he can violate international law with impunity," Trudeau said. "And what we are demonstrating with this strong, united response is that is simply not true," he said.
