Should Christians Celebrate Christmas?! | Why We Don't Celebrate Holidays

Welcome! We are so glad that you found our channel! In today's video we attempt to give an answer for why "WE" no longer celebrate any of the holidays that are most commonly celebrated today. We share ONLY to give an answer for our beliefs and how we practice them in our lives. Over the course of my life I have gone from "Celebrating" to not "Celebrating" for many years, back to "Celebrating and in the past 8 years...back again to not "celebrating". We can honestly say that we feel a freedom from the "WORLD", "The traditions of men", "Pagan Symbolism in worship" , and rudiments of the world. We don't just see the "Holidays" as a personal conviction but feel strongly that the Bible speaks explicitly against these things. As "Historic Baptists", we believe in "liberty of conscience" and that we can hold very strong beliefs and yet differ with others around us and still have engaging and respectful conversations and relationships.

Looking for a good documentary on this subject:

(Although we do NOT agree 100% with this content, we did find it an excellent reference)

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
