25 Things For Summer Collab / Homeschooling During The Summer

We are year round homeschoolers, but during the summer we take things a little easier. We love the freedom and creativity that homeschooling allows us. This collaboration, hosted by katie over at life in the mundane focuses on summer activities you can do while still homeschooling.

We have just moved and we are having a terrible time finding an internet provider. I have had to switch up our homeschool a bit so we can homeschool without using the internet. It’s been a challenge but it’s also been kind of fun.

We are a homeschooling family with five kids at home, six kids total. Our channel is about large family life, homeschooling, and finding the blessing in everyday. I am currently homeschooling a teenager, two elementary aged children and a preschooler. (I am also homeschooling our toddler-but some people don’t consider that homeschool-I do!)

Not everyday is easy, but everyday is a blessing.

Here on our channel I create a lot of homeschooling content. We are currently using The Good and The Beautiful curriculum for language arts and history.

For math we are really enjoying teaching textbooks. I heard about teaching textbooks through some other amazing homeschooling mamas and we have really grown to love it.
