Rare 40/43M Zrínyi II WW2 Footage.

The Zriniy's was developed in 1942 with the StuG III design in mind, Hungary attempted to negotiate with Germany to try and acquire more information on the StuG III but only got a fraction of what they needed.

The vehicle would be based on the chassis of the 40M Turán I tank, two type would be developed the 44M and the 40/43M Zrínyi II, the 44M which had a long 43M 75 mm gun, never got passed the prototype stage and was abandoned, the Zrínyi II with the 105 mm MÁVAG 40/43M howitzer.
Because the Zrinyi used the Turan chassis it was outdated by the standards of 1941, and would only see a small production run, and only 70 were produced from 1943 until 1944.
