Fixing water erosion... A water runoff erosion investigation! Join me for another fun and educational episode as I work to tackle and attempt to cure a water erosion issue in a commercial gravel parking lot that has been persisting for years. One of the big culprits in this water erosion investigation is the gutter downspout drainage, as well as some water drainage coming from an asphalt road, and all of these problem areas are converging in one spot, all running through the center of, and downhill, through a gravel commercial parking lot. So in today's episode we'll look at the history of this problem, diagnose and find the problem water runoff areas, make some fixes and solutions by re routing the gutter downspout drainage, and a new gravel water cut, and then we'll take an after look while it's raining to see just how well I did! Here is a video link to the last time that I regraded this gravel parking lot with my Bobcat T650 CTL skid steer and my SR3 attachment from ABI attachments (BTW, now that I have cured a lot of this water erosion runoff I do need to get back there and regrade the gravel again):
