Elsa the greyhound staying in my bed. The lucky dog who survived 1080 poisoning.

Elsa has a whole page dedicated to her poisoning/baiting and we are extremely lucky that she survived. She was on life support and when she came home she was a vegetable and couldn't move her back legs or tail.
She can now walk, she is wonky, but quite happy. I love it when she sleeps with me. She always slept with me, except when we rented for a brief period and she wasn't allowed in the house. I will never do that again, that's why I prefer to love on a block of land (80 acres of it) with nothing and gradually put in facilities, so I can live WITH my pets. There's no point having them if I don't spent time with them.
I wake up every day and see my brumby girls across the creek. Of course Henry sleeps in my room in his own little puppy proof area. It will be a relief when he finishes teething.
He and Elsa get along well, she is the boss dog and it's a delight having her up here. I look forward to her living full time with me again, I miss her. I was thinking about her and Tuppy (the horse we lost recently) last night and I'm forever grateful Elsa survived with minimal suffering. She was unconscious through the worst of it.
She was deliberately fed 3 baits, that had been saved by a malicious person and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) tells me, it was the age of the baits that saved her. They are able to estimate how many baits she ate by counting red marker beads.
She is extremely popular on FaceBook one video 6M views https://www.facebook.com/LoveElsaTheGreyhound/videos/3201332143269535 and another has 1.3M views https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=755234891902670.
If it wasn't for the fundraiser and friends lending us money I don't know what we would have done, her vet bills alone were over 20k. Not to mention all the accessories, puppy pads, hydrotherapy and so on.
