In November and December of 2020, Pfizer's internal documents showed that there was no efficacy from the shots, and that a common side effect was COVID.

May 10, 2021: BioNTech partnered with Fosun Pharmaceuticals from Shanghai, China to manufacture one billion doses of the mRNA vaccine. The collaboration was that BioNTech provided the technology while Fosun provided the factories and manufacturing.

The chairman and CEO of Fosun Pharmaceuticals is Guo Guangchang, a high-ranking member of the CCP.
