On today’s show, we get into the latest 49ers news around Deebo Samuel following the 49ers back on Instagram and some 49ers rumors on Julio Jones and JC Tretter. The Deebo Samuel contract situation resulted in a lot of Deebo Samuel trade rumors, which led to Samuel requesting a trade. Now that Deebo followed the 49ers back on Instagram, does that mean that things are cooling down and he’ll be part of the 49ers roster?

Pro Football Focus (PFF) thinks that Julio Jones would be an excellent fit for Kyle Shanahan in the 49ers offense. Even tough he’s coming off a couple of injury-riddled seasons, where Julio Jones highlights have been limited, the Niners might be able to sign him to a cheap contract. JC Tretter rumors also continue to swirl. Is Alex Mack going to retire? If so, the 49ers might need a center.

Jones is no longer in the 'best receiver in the league' conversation like he was for most of his NFL career. But that doesn't mean he can't still be a productive contributor to an offense… The 49ers didn't reunite Julio with Kyle Shanahan last offseason when he was available, but the price might be more attainable for San Francisco this time around.
