Amazon's New World MMO Doubles Down on Pay-To-Win Microtransaction store, Players are NOT happy

Amazon's New MMO game New world has had a Microtransaction store announced which some players are calling Pay To Win. Amazon has several game companies and also owns Twitch, the largest gaming Streaming service, yet they have not had much luck in their games releases.

Their first game Crucible has removed from sale then quietly axed, and while New World at first seemed promising, this possibly pay-to-win microtransaction and DLC store is not instilling confidence in the game. With the game not being free to play (F2P) and instead costing $40 at launch, alongside future season passes and expansion packs, do they really need a store as well? While at launch none of the pay to win items will be included, this could mislead new players into thinking the store is cosmetic only, which it clearly won't be by their own admitted oncoming additions.
