Today Jerome Powell and the Fed announced that it is raising is benchmark interest rate by 50 basis points to help curb inflation. There is more going on behind the scenes as people are teased with the thought that Joe Biden may sign and executive order to cancel all student debt. I believe this is a trap to keep people hopeful as the economy crashes around them.
