Johnny Depp's Team Rests Their Case in the Defamation Trial

During the defamation trial on Tuesday, Johnny Depp's team rested their case and Amber Heard's team began theirs after a motion to dismiss the case. Prior to Depp's team resting their case, their last expert witness testified that Depp lost an estimated $40 million after Heard's Op-Ed was published. Amber Heard's first expert witness was a forensic psychologist who testified that she disagreed with Dr. Shannon Curry's diagnoses.

In other news, a corrections officer in Alabama helped an inmate escape. Both suspects are currently wanted by authorities. Lastly, a SCOTUS draft to overturn Roe v Wade was leaked this week.
