This is the best day of my damn life this was the other locomotives on my 20 year grab list however back then I was a kid and no money to speak of so to get one now made me really happy yay. these locomotives are ultra rare just like the 3751 her self These locomotives where used on Raton pass during WW2 so that Santa Fe railroad could free up there locomotives up there and use on there other routes. these 2-8-8-2s where transferred from Norfolk & Western to the Santa Fe that's how they got them just re numbered and lettered at least only 8 of these locomotives that they got after the war ended they sent them of to the Virginian railroad where they served out the rest of there lives before either being preserved in parks or museums or scraped.
Walthers trains when they bought the life like company they also bought the rights to there proto 2000 line and they where made only limited amounts so I'm happy I found one when a friend told me about this. This locomotive is used though so there will be somethings wrong with it though I can fix it no problem.
