The Volkswagen Taos is a premium mid-range SUV like you've never seen! Completely new, it becomes the new benchmark in the category in terms of design, safety, technology and comfort. And more: with the lowest maintenance cost among direct competitors. Made under the modern MQB platform, the Taos incorporates sophistication items hitherto present only in the high luxury segment. From now on, nothing will be the same as before!

Manufactured in the industrial complex in Pacheco, Argentina, the Taos arrives at dealerships throughout Brazil as of June in two versions: Comfortline and Highline, both equipped with a 250 TSI engine and six-speed automatic transmission. In this way, Volkswagen reinforces the strategy of offering leaner ranges, making the purchase process simpler and easier. And to celebrate the arrival of Taos in the country, Taos will have a Launch Edition with exclusive design items and equipment, in addition to many benefits for customers.

With unique and bold elements, the Taos has the gift to impress and be noticed anywhere. Its dimensions are proportional, with long wheelbase and short front and rear overhangs. Highlight for the 'A column' with an extremely 'fast' design and high waistline, ensuring muscular and imposing bearing.

At the forefront, the Taos personality is striking. Starting with the full-LED headlamps with an extremely refined design and an IQ system. Light, the most modern in the segment. The DRL (Daytime Running Light) is born from them, LED fillets that cut the front grille with elegance and merge with the new logo of the brand. This is Volkswagen's new worldwide visual identity, which debuted in the ID electric car family. in Europe. The look is complemented by the creased and very horizontal hood, the extremely vertical front and the bumper with striking lines, especially the glossy black finish in an "X" shape.

At the rear, the bumper is in perfect harmony with the musculature of the entire car. The lanterns have sophisticated features that perfectly match the headlights' graphics. The Taos name is affixed to the base of the trunk lid and, further to the right, the 250 TSI emblem - a reference to the 250 Nm torque and the modern turbo engine with direct fuel injection. Beautiful 18-inch alloy wheels, standard on all versions, complete the Taos's external look.

In addition to a striking personality, Taos is a reference in indoor space. The biggest in the category! Volkswagen's SUV is 4,461mm long, with an impressive 2,680mm wheelbase, 1,626mm tall and 1,841mm wide. With these measures, tall people travel comfortably in the backseat, without facing problems with knees scraping in the front seat or head touching the roof.

Taos' trunk is also the biggest when compared to its direct competitors. And much bigger! That's no less than 498 liters to take everything and a little more! The rear seats can even be folded down, significantly increasing the load capacity and allowing the transport of large objects such as bicycles or surfboards.

And this refined ambiance is even more premium with the seats covered in synthetic leather, the multifunctional steering wheel with a new design - present in models of the ID electric family and which debuted here in Brazil with the Nivus - and the sophisticated "digital island", which it involves the driver, formed by the Active Info Display instrument panel with an incredible 10.25-inch screen and the VW Play infotainment center, which uses a giant, high-definition 10.1 "screen.
