It is a day to reflect on the state of press freedom around the world, and it is a day to honor at-risk journalists and journalists who have lost their lives. The prosecution of Julian Assange for publishing information in the public interest is the most consequential press freedom case of the modern era. We discuss the ways in which you can help to prevent Assange’s extradition to the United States.
