UFO FOOTAGE FROM NOVEMBER 2014

This footage was filmed using an InfraRed camera from a Chilean Navy helicopter. The camera switches between normal vision and InfraRed. The object matched the velocity of the helicopter (130 knots).

Based on other footage released by the Pentagon and the Mexican Air Force, these entities seem to be easier to see in InfraRed.

The Chilean government has a branch called the Committee for the Study of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena that analyzes this sort of thing and they came to the conclusion that it was a UAP. Here's a summary of their conclusion:

"On November 11, 2014, a Chilean Navy helicopter (Airbus Cougar AS-532), equipped with a high definition infrared FLIR camera, was patrolling the coastal sector between the port of San Antonio and Quinteros at 4:48 UTC, when the camera operating officer detected an unknown object, apparently flying at a constant speed similar to that of the helicopter, and moving ahead. The sighting was visually confirmed by the two officers that made up the crew (pilot and camera operator) and lasted more than 10 minutes.

The officers questioned the Air Traffic Control whose radar failed to detect the object. Nor did they receive a response from the unknown traffic when they tried to interrogate him on the frequency provided for these cases.

The DGAC's radar control system was unable to capture the object but confirmed the absence of authorized traffic in the vicinity of the helicopter.

On two occasions, the object appears to shed a trail of some element that has not been able to determine.

Some analysts have suggested the hypothesis that it is a medium-sized airliner and that the contrails of the detached element could be the reserve water inside the aircraft, thrown by the crew. However, meteorology states that neither the altitude at which the object was moving, nor the ambient temperature at that time, allowed such a condensation trail. The object disappeared into the clouds.

The Committee for the Study of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena, made up of leading scientists, analysts and aeronautical technicians after an extensive study of the case, agreed to classify it as FANI (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon)CEFAA appreciates once again the cooperation of all branches of the armed forces and police forces for their constant cooperation through their respective representatives before the Committee.

We wish everyone a Happy New Year 2017 that allows us to continue strengthening our ties of cooperation."
