CAOA CHERY TIGGO 3X TURBO innovates in agile and pleasant driving and brings more technology

The new SUV from CAOA CHERY has arrived to complement the brand's portfolio. O Tiggo 3x Turbo debuts on the domestic market with a new driveability proposal, design and technology for the compact SUV segment. Produced nationwide in Jacareí (SP), it is already available in the Dealership Network of the entire country. The launch price is R$ 94,990 in the PLUS version and R$ 99,990 in the PRO version.

Considered the “young athlete” of the Tiggo family thanks to the vibrant look and robust, the new product will be positioned between the Tiggo 2 and the Tiggo 5x, reinforcing the line of SUVs of the brand that conquers, every month, more participation in the category of fastest growing vehicles in the country.

The Tiggo 3x Turbo will be sold in two versions: PLUS and PRO and has
as differentials the current and attractive design, which brings exclusive grids for each version; extensive list of standard items, which includes unique equipment in the segment and normally only present on premium vehicles as a descent assistant (HDC), on-site proximity switch, remote climate control (CCD) and state-of-the-art stability control; plus an unprecedented powertrain set in the CAOA CHERY portfolio consisting of 1.0 Turbo Flex engine and 9 CVT gearbox simulated speeds that give the vehicle a pleasant handling, comfortable and agile due to the great torque.

The application of the new powertrain set of the Tiggo 3x Turbo is the result of extensive work of Brazilian engineering. There were more than five thousand hours of developed specifically for engine and transmission calibration with the objective of delivering to the national consumer an experience behind the wheel that would serve to your expectations. In all, the model development project for Brazil took about two years and had more than 150 thousand kilometers run in tests vehicles and 1,500 hours of development in an engine dynamometer.

Brazilian, combined with the 9-speed CVT gearbox, brings a focused driveability 100% on the consumer experience, who can feel the great engine torque like this that the throttle is turned on. The Tiggo 3x Turbo has one of the highest torques in the category: 17.1 kgfm with ethanol and 16.8 kgfm with gasoline, already at 2,000 rpm, which position the above model, including larger displacement engines. The maximum power is 102
hp at 5,000 rpm.

As it is available in a wide range of rotation (1,750 to 4,000rpm) this
torque makes driving the Tiggo 3x Turbo extremely pleasant, due to the responses faster. This, combined with the 9-speed CVT gearbox, which eliminates the feeling of shifts gears and provides a smooth ride. This balanced set also received a new isolation system that results in a vehicle with low noise level and lower vibration levels, which make the acoustic comfort of the Tiggo 3x exceptional.

The Tiggo 3x Turbo has its design as one of its greatest attractions. The innovative look and harmonic is the result of the team work of Chery's Design Director, Steve Eum which has vast experience in the automotive sector and has brought to the brand's models a global and contemporary design. In Tiggo 3x Turbo this look was composed by elements inspired by the movements of Chinese Kung Fu, characterized by strength and
for vigor while delivering smooth and harmonic lines.

The front face of the Tiggo 3x Turbo is an example of this. The imposing grid, which gained exclusive designs for each version, brings movement and depth to the design, both in the “matrix” type design, in the PLUS version, and in the Diamond, in the version PRO. The strong personality of the front of the vehicle is also made up of DRL lights headlights and bumper repeater lights.
