Johnny Depp's Side Rests While Amber Heard Painted a Saint By Her Lead Expert | Trial Day 13 Recap

Johnny Depp's side of the Defamation trial rested their case in chief and it kind of ended with a thud. The personal nurse of Amber was a nice touch, compounding the substance and abuse issues that were present, but nothing groundbreaking; same with the forensic accountant.

The motion to dismiss argument is getting plenty of play, but it really is much ado about nothing as it was outside the presence of the Jury and really means nothing other than a point to be preserved on appeal.

What was substantive was the Direct Testimony of Dr. Dawn Hughes, the biggest advocate/expert you have ever heard. Her ability to abscond any responsibility from a woman in a domestic violence situation was impressive and how she painted Amber Heard as the sweetest little dindu on planet earth was a stroke of genius. Unfortunately, there is three weeks of evidence for the jury to consider that vehemently contradicts that. Cross examination tomorrow should be amazing.
