This is a day of celebration!

Today, the Commonwealth of Virginia is dismissing the case against Gourmeltz Restaurant and its owner, Matt Strickland in Fredericksburg, VA. The government had suspended the restaurant’s license in February for failure to abide by the Virginia Governor’s onerous COVID mandates, which would have put the restaurant out of business.

Since then, we have been fighting alongside Matt. Liberty Guard, headed by former Congressman Bob Barr, along with local Virginia lawyers Norton-Pelt, in Spotsylvania, VA, defended Gourmeltz and Strickland, successfully resisting the Attorney General of Virginia seeking an injunction to close the restaurant.
