Putin talks with Macron about helping to end "war crimes" in Ukraine

Putin had a talk with Macron in regards to helping to end "war crimes" and "atrocities" in Donbas. Considering their previous talks and Macron's narrow win because of Le Pen's long-standing friendly relations with Putin, one wonders if Macron's position has changed.
