The Jesus Generation Conference: Intimacy, Identity, and Evangelism

This weekend, April 29 & 30, 2022, my church, Hopewell Community Church, hosted The Jesus Generation Conference. I had no idea what to expect, but I'm so glad I went! It was rejuvenating and empowering! It was such a timely reminder to abide in intimacy with Christ so we can experientially know our true identities, then naturally share the love of Jesus with those around us. I especially loved how so much of it connected with themes I've been studying over the past several years: Theology of the Body, Orthodox Christianity's doctrine of theosis, honor-shame culture dynamics, and even attachment theory in psychology.
