Join us for an excellent episode (Part 1 of 2) as we get a special guest at our Kapper Outdoors Southern Illinois farm! In this part 1 episode Kelly Turner, who is a pro staff hunter from Drury Outdoors/DOD TV/Critical mass and other Drury Outdoors deer hunting videos will not only visit our farm, but my neighbors will also have a chance to Meet Kelly Turner in person! It was a real treat to have him visit our farm! My neighbor, John Philpott and his son Hugh got to meet Kelly up close and personal as well! In case you don't know who my neighbor is, he was a firefighter who, as the result of an on duty accident got paralyzed from the waist down, and we helped him get a new Action track wheelchair so that he could once again experience the outdoors with his son Hugh! So, back to today's episode I felt honored to get a visit from Kelly Turner, and I was able to do a behind the scenes one on one deer hunting field interview of Kelly, and we also took at Polaris Ranger XP1000 Northstar ride and property tour of our 150 acre Southern Illinois farm, all while I hit him with a barrage of deer hunting professional questions that I finally got to ask a real professional! Of course we will enjoy some fresh air, some humor, and a property tour of our farm while I pick his brain for as much knowledge as I can for both me and you guys to help us improve our deer hunting game!
