Of woods, sunshine, gravel & Bobcat T650 skid steer.. FINALLY finished gravel project & more!

Beautiful 'winter' weather, Bobcat T650 CTL skid steer, gravel work, gravel driveway repair, exploring in the woods, DIY rustic wood projects, HIS and HER's special weekend edition... What could be better than this? Join us on this beautiful Southern Illinois homestead Thanksgiving farm vlog edition! In today's episode I will bust Sharon using my equipment again.. My favorite Milwaukee M18 chainsaw! But after she get's caught I will break down and help her with her deep woods exploring and DIY rustic cedar furniture wood gathering. In today's episode I will finally FINISH expanding my gravel driveway turn around project for more parking space for trailers and equipment. Today I'll be using my Bobcat T650 CTL skid steer to grade a new water drainage swale in the newly created gravel parking pad, then bring in some 3 inch clean stone for a driveway base layer, then I'll add some CA6, 3/4" crushed gravel with a packing agent to get a final grade on this entire new gravel driveway turnaround parking area and hopefully this will be the last time if I get a good water runoff drainage slope this time!
Also in today's episode we'll join Sharon as she explores the deep woods of our 150 acre Southern Illinois farm, as she seeks out a very specific kind of wood, and an even more specific set of wood features! In this case she is looking for a nice Western Red cedar tree, that has had barbed wire fencing grown into it from many years of growth. At some point she will make some Western Red Cedar magic happen with one of the 2 natural pieces that she is able to retrieve, so be sure to stay tuned to our channel in the future to see what she comes up with for both of these one-of-a-kind, naturally occurring wood specimens.
