HYDRO DIPPED Metallic Deer Skull with Lightning Charred Log Mount - Part 1

Sharon here! Today I am trying something totally different from my natural rustic DIY home decorating projects. Join me at our Southern Illinois farm as I take my first try at hydro dipping. Hydro dipping has been around for years but today I am going to do a practice run on this European whitetail deer skull (aka how to euro mount/diy euro mount) that was harvested from our land in southern Illinois. Using 2 metallic spray paints I quickly find out this is a technique that takes practice! What's the perfect mount material for it? A lightning struck charred pine tree in our woods is a perfect backdrop to this unique mount. This is the first part of two videos that will capture the build to finish.
