Mr. Watson recently co-authored an article for Quillette with Kenny Xu concerning the alleged connection between Critical Race Theory and the Civil Rights Movement. Kenny and Mr. Watson passionately (and logically) demonstrated the incompatibility of the moral and intellectual foundations of Critical Race Theory in comparison to the Civil Rights Movement's own beliefs. Of course, they had detractors. But one detractor in particular - a college professor- argued that Mr. Watson was being used because of his skin color to tout ideas that are harmful to people like him. In this video, Mr. Watson explains why that claim is not simply the sentiment of a single individual, but the general mood of the intelligentsia. He also explains how to fight back against such beliefs with reason.
