Volunteer Cossack detachment "Don" named after Archangel Michael, headed by ataman Nikolai Dyakonov, began to carry out combat missions as part of a special military operation in Ukraine, the Union of Cossack Troops of Russia and Abroad (SKVIRiZ) said.

The footage published by the organization shows how the Cossacks use the BMP-2M with the combat compartment B05Ya01 "Berezhok".

The main features of the combat compartment B05YA01 ("Berezhok") are the use of a modern combined gunner's sight with a thermal imaging channel, as well as the installation of 4 ATGM "Kornet" and a 30-mm automatic grenade launcher AG-30M.
