Justin Haynes alleges he was "Standing His Ground" when he shot through his locked bedroom door where his naked girlfrIend and her dog were cowering. Justin's story is far-fetched, and he is most likely going to prison for a long time. When I watched the interrogation, I was appalled by his lawyer, Barbara Hobbs who appeared to sleep through most of his statement and did not address her client's questions and concerns. This video focuses on the behavior of his Lawyer, who was a sitting Criminal circuit Judge in the jurisdiction where this happened. She later faced discpline for this lapse in judgement.. but the larger implications where never addressed.. for example the violation of her client/son's 6th amendment right to vigorous representation. It could be said that Judge Hobbs set her son up by not performing her due dilligence.. and it could also be said that she had a conflict of interest because she, pesonally, was at odds with the young lady that was almost killed. And the fact that her son was not charged with Attempted Murder speaks to her influence in that jurisdiction. The Detective in this case would later testify on behalf of Judge Hobbs in her disciplinary hearings. There is much much more to this story than appears on the surface.
