While love is an attribute of God. Love is not the Gospel.
From John the Baptist's; Who represented all the old-time prophets, Jesus, the disciples, Have always preach the gospel through repentance.
Repenting of one sins, as if you actually mean it. As if you're actually broken up of sinning against a holy and just God.
God absolutely loves his Called children, But it's their sins, that brought him to the Cross. Justice needed to be dealt with.
