Sônia Rubinsky, a Brazilian born in São Paulo, performs an exciting presentation held in the beautiful Itamaraty Palace, in Brasília. Winner of the "Best Recitalist of the Year" award by the São Paulo Art Critics Association (APCA) and the William Petschek Piano Recital Award from the Juilliard School and the First Artists International Award in New York, the pianist performed works by Bach, Mendelssohn and Heitor Villa-Lobos, whose complete work for piano was recorded by her, earning her a Latin Grammy.
