I just met a local who lives across the road here at tweed harbour.
She expressed her absolute disgust and alleged that the police boats NEVER once left the harbour for search and rescue during the floods due to bureaucratic red tape bs.

I never once saw a single police vessel in 2 months on the water and nor did I see one police chopper assisting.
Ever. Not once.

And now, because I accepted some help to cover the expenses related to my own equipment that got absolutely thrashed,
I am the one under investigation?

I’ll be looking to call the police rescue in tweed and confirm that they never participated in any search and rescue 🛟

This country is an absolute effing disgrace 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
