Nintendo Switch Sports Online Two-Player Badminton (Recorded on 4/29/22)

For our third sport, Keet and I played a match of Badminton, which of course uses the same basic controls as Tennis. Oddly, this game doesn’t seem to offer a doubles mode even though Badminton can be played with four people in real life. Nintendo should update the game to add doubles support.

This may have been the weakest sport in the game because it’s not really clear how to gain an advantage over your opponent, unlike Tennis, so you can end up with really long rallies. We had quite the rally going until I fell for unknown reasons. I still don’t fully understand the mechanics of this mode, so it’ll take some time for me to figure them out.
