Tempelhof Field (Feld) is in southern part of Berlin near .
Since 2010, the former airport grounds is being used different activities: running, dog park, walking, cycling, wind sports picnicing, skating.

The airport began in the 1920s. By 1930, Tempelhof was the busiest airport in Europe and home to the Lufthansa airline During the Nazi period, the airport was included the Columbia-Haus prison / concentration camp, in which 10,000 journalists, politicians, Jews and other ‘undesirables were kept. In 1948. responding to the Soviet blockade of west Berlin, the allies flew 2.3m tonnes of supplies into west Berlin. In 2008, the airport operations ended.
