Seeing some surprising things when I went to look at my crops.

Every so often I get a chance to run out to the fields and see how the crops are growing. This gives me a chance to assess what is going on and what I need to do to help it along through the growing season. This morning I was pleasantly surprised to see the black bean and the soy beans had started growing in the dry soil. I did my best to plant the seeds into some moisture and it looks like I did a decent job. I will know more as the crop emerges. We will see how even or uneven it comes out of the ground.
