The Gut-Brain Connection - How Bad Is Sodium?

There has been much debate as to the role of Sodium and health. For too long, it has been believed that Sodium contributes to high blood pressure and heart disease. This link is tenuous at best and often seen as antidotal, but new evidence has been found that too much sodium creates problems with gut bacteria which can lead to brain issues. Apparently, there is a gut-brain connection that is linked with sodium intake.
