Marjorie Taylor Greene continues to dominate the news cycle. Let's turn to this. This clip came out yesterday, but she's been in the news because, essentially, free speech for the people in the election reform campaign organization filed a lawsuit against her in Georgia. Saying that she should not be eligible to run for re-election because of her comments about January 6th and that essentially she'd violated her oath of office by being an undemocratic fascist— I mean, yes but I would argue a majority of Republicans also fall under that umbrella. There's just a focus on her based on her outsized influence in the Republican party because of the amount of donations she receives, and she's also really the figurehead for the Trump constituency that a lot of people in Washington are uncomfortable with reckoning. Yeah, she's really the leader in the battle of ideas for the republicans. One hundred percent, and so she's kind of instructive honestly because it's helpful to see her because when you can hear you hear what the republican base thinks when she speaks, and here's an example of this where she was on with a Catholic activist speaking about religion and criticizing the church's roles of resettling undocumented immigrants and refugees in this country and helping them I don't know to live a life that isn't marred by poverty and giving them food and shelter things that churches are supposed to do.
