Japanese Giant Salamander

A Japanese giant salamander preying on a frog in Minoo Park, Osaka prefecture. The salamander is endemic to Japan and considered a national treasure, however due to environmental impacts & habitat destruction, its conservation status is listed as 'Near Threatened' (Population decreasing)
