The horses in RSHR are a lot more realistic looking.
You can get what you need to train your horses by racing in RSHR. More to it in MHS: pump water, water greenhouse to grow crops, grind crops at mill, feed horse to get training energy.
Competitions are easier in MHS. You can mess up a fair amount in the jumping and still get good finish.
