Gardening Tools, Sowing Root crops zone 7 and Potato planting

Having the right tool for the job is important. In the gardens having the right tool can save you time and learn to be more efficient for those gardening task.

It’s February, for us following the almanac, and that means sowing root crops such as carrots, beets, turnips, and potatoes.

We are sowing early potatoes and will continue to sow potatoes through the last frost date. I do love home grown potatoes.

The cold frame has been down so we can compare the early sowing production and the later sowing.
