Salt Lake County SUES JEN after HUGE public records victory!

Jen & Sophie explain the latest update in the never-ending struggle to get election emails from Salt Lake County clerk's office.

Jen's Aug. 2021 public records requests for election info came with a price tag of almost $100,000.... after numerous appeals, SLCo admitted the price charged was "excessive." Jen's appeals made the illegal fees PERMANENTLY reduced (about 90% less once adjusted to legal rates), as well as got the formula for calculating time spent per email adjusted permanently.

Because of broadcasts and public support for election integrity, the State Records Committee agreed that Jen should receive the records without charge because of their broadcast and social media support.

Salt Lake County, who repeatedly tried to dismiss the case during the process, has now filed a lawsuit against Jen and State Records to prevent this from happening.
