Trauma is directly tied to the food we eat

What Kristen is focused on right now really resonates with me in the way that she approaches weight struggles

About 90% of people who diet go through periods of weight loss quickly followed by weight gain

Sometimes it’s fixed super easily with information like calorie tracking, reverse dieting or something like that

This is just a guess but I would say a strong 60% of the time the weight struggles are tied to trauma or unresolved emotions

This is something that I’ve really started to shift my attention to

Everyone knows to drink water, eat protein, and exercise

This advice is so important but way overused

Digging into the roots of weight struggles beyond “nutrition information” is the key to actually making permanent changes to lifestyle and the relationship to food

Total mind and body fitness is way more important then a scale number

Kristen is really digging into all this and the conversation was really enlightening

Anyone who’s had struggles in life and struggles with weight gain should listen to this and just see if it could be the solution to the problem
