PASTRIES & BEER? The Jeremy Jack JJ15 Corona - CIGAR REVIEWS by CigarScore

The first time we reviewed a Jeremy Jack cigar, we were very interested in the cloudy and yellowed cellophane. However, we reviewed and enjoyed it. So, when I was digging through the humidor back at CigarScore HQ, I was both surprised and delighted to see today's cigar, the Jeremy Jack JJ15 Corona.

After unsheathing the cigar from its darkened cellophane, I noticed the oily and textured wrapper leaf. Giving the cigar a sniff, the smells were somewhat floral and quite rich.

Once the Jeremy Jack JJ15 Corona was cut, even with its smaller ring gauge and my Colibri deep-v cutter, the draw was just a smidge tight. However, the cold draw flavors were interesting and tasted like spicy beer. After the JJ15 was lit, those flavors transitioned into toasted pastries.

Through the middle third of the cigar, the draw was still just okay. The flavors were somewhat sweet and a little musty, and it tasted… rich. I'm reminded of the Guardian of the Farm.

Final Thoughts

If you like other Aganorsa cigars (or cigars made with Aganorsa's leaves), you'll likely enjoy this Jeremy Jack JJ15 Corona. And, for the money and smoke time, it's not a bad deal price-wise. So, the Jeremy Jack JJ15 Corona earns a CigarScore 5.
