Some cigars are timeless and classic. Other cigars, like today's, are seasonal and targeted toward a specific time of year. So, it's Fall, and we're going to dive into the Quesada Oktoberfest 10th Anniversary Torpedo.

Going into this Quesada Oktoberfest, to be honest, I was a little bit skeptical. Would this cigar be good, or gimmicky? I didn't know.

Visually, the Quesada Oktoberfest 10th Anniversary Torpedo looks great. The wrapper is fairly dark and has a nice, oily texture to it. The paper label on the cigar, in its tribute to perhaps a traditional Octoberfest, has the red, yellow and black colors of the German flag.

After a quick snip of the torpedo end with my guillotine, the draw was perfect. Once the Oktoberfest was lit I was greeted with smells and aromas that were rich and oily and decadent.

Final Thoughts

After smoking the Quesada Oktoberfest 10th Anniversary Torpedo for just over an hour and a half, I have some thoughts. On one hand, after 10 years, you'd think Quesada would have perfected their blend. On the other, they change the blend and vitola each year, so it's understandable that things wouldn't be perfect.

However, the Oktoberfest I reviewed comes with a good price point, good construction, and good flavors. I liked just about everything with this cigar.

This cigar was good all around and a great value for the money. While I'm not sold on it being an “Octoberfest” cigar (in that it's specifically blended in a certain way), it was still very enjoyable. So, the Quesada Oktoberfest 10th Anniversary earns a CigarScore 5.
